Haute Kantár is a collaboration between jewelry designer Philipp Eberle and artist Marie von Heyl. The project was founded in 2015 as an interdisciplinary endeavor to explore and combine the methodologies of fine art and design. The first collection was released in 2016 and exhibited in London, Berlin, Pforzheim and Idar-Oberstein. The second collection was completed in 2019.
Philipp Eberle is a jewelry designer based in Paris and New York. He received a diploma in design from Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences, Germany. Besides his own label The Lettering he currently works with the fashion houses Louis Vuitton, Ann Demeulemeester and Coach. He taught as a visiting lecturer at the Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences and Ecole d’Art et Design Geneva.
Marie von Heyl is an artist based in Berlin. She received a diploma in fine art from Weißensee School of Art Berlin and a postgraduate diploma from the Royal Academy in London. In her practice she investigates subject-object relations and the productive inadequacies of language. Marie has exhibited internationally and was artist in residence in the US, Japan, Scotland and Turkey. She taught as a visiting lecturer at Plymouth Academy of Art, TU Dortmund, F+F School of Art&Design in Zurich.
